Now getting it with 5 os may be a bit trickier, but those do drop from normal monsters. Likewise, pretty much every Shako I've found was obtained the same way.įinally, define "quite a while." Are we talking about days of continuous Cow and Pit runs, weeks, months, etc? You will find that white phase blade during normal play. I wasn't farming for Death's Web specifically, but I was pleasantly surprised by the drop. By contrast, you often find good stuff which you aren't looking for.įor instance, I found a Death's Web in Act IV Hell with my Hammerdin in the Outer Steppes off a random elite monster pack. D3 has Paragon levels, rifts and all that jazz which goes on more or less exponentially, but Diablo 2 is structured by difficulty level which roughly lines up with leveling up your character (LVL 99 is max). It may often feel as if the game knows you are looking for X item and simply refuses to allow it to drop. All good info from above to add to this, the structure of the game and how the 'end-game' works is very different in Diablo 2. I personally would not recommend farming specifically for one, as farming for any specific item (other than runes) generally tends to be a tedious and unenjoyable process. Sorceress The Sorceress is one of the most popular characters, as well as my favorite, because of her ability to quickly maneuver through the battlefield and attack from a safe position with ranged spells. Normal, non-magic phase blades are not that rare in Hell difficulty.
